A logo and business card created for a friend, for her copywriting and editing business Written Proofer. After working as a freelancer on and off, she chose to pursue a more consistent freelancing route, and as part of that, she wanted a logo and business card to reflect that.

I created the logo first, focusing on the use of color strongly, to indicate spotting small differences in something you are editing or proof-reading. The client really liked serif fonts, but had chosen a font that was a bit too much of a script font to be taken seriously, so I chose this one instead, which I thought had elegance, but some simplicity. I wanted the business cards to reflect the logo, keeping with the simplicity, clean use of white space, and small amounts of color for detail.
