A set of social media banners to promote the audtions for Kollaborations 2016 Chicago Showcase. The banners were created for Facebook (cover and post), Twitter (cover and post) and Instagram.
Creating the banners meant creating a new theme for 2016's showcase. The previous year had been driven based on the 10th anniversary, so I was tasked in creating a new style. I wanted it to be simple yet bold. There were a selection of fantastic photographs to choose from, so I selected one that stood out the most, especially when converted to black and white. It's a striking central image, and also features the winner of last years' Showcase. The text is also meant to be simple, using white, with bits of neon green to emphasize important information.
